What this is: a private day sheet shared by one family
and the friends they invite. You open it and see today: what you have
committed to, anything waiting on your answer, and — filling whatever room
is left — things happening nearby that the app found overnight.
What it is for: so people who want to do something
together can find that out without a group chat. You say what you are
doing; other people see it. That is the whole mechanism.
What it is not: a social network, a chat app, or a
calendar that guesses when you are free. There is no feed, no likes, no
followers, and nobody can see how often you open it. A blank day is yours;
the app never fills it, counts it, or nags about it.
How a day works: one date at a time, split into three
watches — Morning, Afternoon and Evening. “Add to the program” puts
something on it: Committed if people should see it,
Interested if it is a private note to yourself. “Mark me Out”
blocks off time, and there is deliberately nowhere to say why.
Why it talks about ships: a shipping line is not a
ship. Being on the line means people can reach you, not that you are at
sea — most days you are just at home living your own day. Now and then some

Safari, so a freshly installed copy may open signed out. That is how the
system works rather than a fault here. Settings → “Link another device” gives
you a code to sign it in.
